Western Red Cedar Planter Box Pair with Live Edge Trim
These matching planter boxes were made to last, using durable Western Red Cedar sides and trim, and strong Douglas fir internal support braces. Screws are coated and hidden from view, and landscape cloth lines the inside of each box to assist with preservation of the wood. Trim is made from fitted live-edge pieces using galvanized finishing nails punched and filled with matching putty. No finishing products are used on the inside of the boxes in the event that they are used for growing edible plants. The sides are sanded and finished with Sunfast exterior stain to preserve the golden color, and trim is finished with 4 coats of Spar Urethane to protect and showcase the natural shades of the cedar.

Western Red Cedar Live Edge Table Centerpiece with Floral Base Insert
Measuring 66 inches in length, this unique cedar centerpiece could be a highlight on a long dining table, bar top or sideboard. The cedar is 2 inches thick, and a solid base for condiments or other accompaniments for the feast. Inset into the piece is a floral spike holder, to allow for any decorations that suit the occasion. Photos show a spring bouquet, and angles of the piece on natural wood and on green cloth. Multiple coats of natural Osmo oil were used to highlight the intricate grain patterns and protect the wood without introducing any harmful chemicals.

Western Red Cedar and Big Leaf Maple Live Edge Curved Bench
This uniquely curved live edge bench is constructed from Western Red Cedar and features leg stabilizer pieces from Douglas Fir, and a central branch made from Big Leaf Maple. The central branch is fitted in place using dowels. The bottom of the legs are treated with the Shou Sugi Ban wood burning technique to assist with resisting rot if the bench is used outdoors. Fasteners have been hidden from view and this bench can be disassembled for transportation or future re-finishing. All pieces have had natural cracks or holes filled with clear resin, and are treated with Osmo UV protection oil to highlight the grain and textures of the wood, and protect from the elements.

Western Red Cedar and Arbutus Large Curved Family Bench
This large live edge bench was created with a single slab of Western Red Cedar, supported by three Cedar legs strengthened with Arbutus and Cedar supports. Four to Five people can comfortably sit together and the curve lends to conversation around a table or fire. Fasteners are hidden from view and this bench can be disassembled in future if needed. Any small cracks have been filled with clear resin and the whole piece treated with Osmo UV protection oil to highlight the textures and grain in the wood, and protect from the elements.

“Cherry Spirit” Presentation and Cutting Board
Made from the recovered wood of a local Cherry tree, the pattern seemed to reflect it’s spirit. The board is live edge, with strong handle, suitable for use as a cutting board or serving appetizers at the feast. The board is finished with certified food safe mineral oil.

This live edge board is made from the recovered wood of a local Cherry tree. The pattern of rings and waves evoke the deep cosmos. The design is intended to be suitable for presenting appetizers, condiments, or use as a cutting board. The board is finished with certified food safe mineral oil and any fine cracks have been filled with certified food safe clear epoxy.
